Lost Property, a lady attending the Wake last Friday lost her necklace between her car and the clubhouse, if found please let me know. Thank you.

We would also like to thank members for keeping the car parking area clear during the Wake. It was very much appreciated by the family.

BOAT OWNERS – SUMMER MOORING & STORAGE FORMS, deadline for return 15th February and Moorings Meeting, Thursday, 7th March at 20:00 in the clubhouse.

Film Production Company – preparatory works are underway in the compound up to Monday, 5th February, they are filming in the tunnel on Tuesday, 6th and Wednesday, 7th February, on these two days the crew are using the clubhouse room for eating their lunch, these will be the busiest days in terms of vehicles at the club, after this they will strike down and leave the club on Wednesday, 14th February.

THURSDAY,  1st February – WINTER TALKS PROGRAMME – Challenge Wales 

Hear all about the aims, challenges and achievements of the Challenge Wales project as we get a glimpse behind the scenes.   Bar Open at 17:00 – meals are being served, the talk starts at 20:00 lasting no more than an hour.

QUIZ NIGHT – THURSDAY, 29TH FEBRUARY – 19:30

Bar open from 17:30 

(Mark is hoping that this will become a regular event on the last Thursday of every month going forward)

Friday, 1st March – celebrating St David’s Day/Celtic Night – Menu – Traditional Lamb Cawl served with rustic sourdough bread, Dessert is Jam & Whipped Cream filled Welsh Cake. Poster to follow.

Friday, 12th April – 32nd RNLI Annual Dinner @ BYC – Fundraiser – 7.00 PM for 7.30 PM. (with the bar closing at midnight).

After Dinner Speaker: Stuart Davies (former Swansea and Wales Rugby player and broadcaster – he is excellent.

Ticket Cost: £38 p.p. Gentlemen Only – Black Tie event, Tables of eight guests are available for groups.

Bar: cost effective beers/lagers, 2 real ales specially for us, good selection of spirits and very good value wines. Table service during the evening. Card payment only.

Menu: Tomato and Basil Soup with roll and butter. Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding, Roast and Boiled Potatoes with a selection of seasonal vegetables. Gravy and Horseradish as required. Cheesecake with cream and fruit dressing together with Coffee and mints.

Bottle Raffle:  Will be held during the evening. No Auction this year.
