Fishguard and Goodwick Jemima Rowing Club Celtic Race 20th July
We entered a team in the Senior’s Race this year. Lawrence, Graham, Richard and Rhiannon had a storming race over 3 miles (shortened due to the windy weather conditions), with Lynne encouraging, all the way as cox.
Despite the wind it was a really beautiful day in Lower Fishguard, and Julia and Mary managed a swim in the sea as well.
Thanks so much go to Lawrence and Julia for towing the boat down, and well done to Richard for completing his first rowing race. Taking part in one of the Welsh Sea Rowing races is strangely fun. It really is about taking part, meeting with other rowers from other teams, and visiting some of the beautiful places in Wales and wider.
