I was wondering if you could email members to see if anyone would like to sponsor my paddle across the Bristol Channel in the spring. I have a Just Giving page which members can donate through directly.
Alternatively any members which run a business or other organisation could sponsor me and in return I could place their logo on the side of my board to advertise their company/ organisation.
The BBC are putting a piece together and they are joining me on the paddle (in the safety boat). I will also share with the local press and hopefully it will reach quite far across social media platforms etc.
The Bristol Channel by SUP
During Spring 2023 I will be stand up paddle boarding from Weston-Super-Mare to Barry Island.
I am doing this to raise funds for outdoor play equipment at Ysgol y Deri.
As a teacher at Ysgol y Deri and chair of Island SUP Club (a stand up paddle boarding club here on Barry Island) I understand the importance of spending time outside and the impact it has on our health and wellbeing.
